"When do you think she will say her first words love?", Causeway asked as she walked over and stood beside their berth looking at them.

Optimus looked up at his mate with a warm smile as Velvet Rose giggled while she played with his windshield wipers.

"When she is ready. But i feel it will be soon" Optimus said looking back at their young one.

Velvet Rose squeaked and giggled as she pat her tiny servos on his chest plates where the windows of his truck form where leaving small smudges. Causeway giggled and sat down beside them as Optimus scooted over to give her room. Velvet Rose squeaked in protest when Causeway picked her up and held her in her lap. She held her servos out again towards her father and squeaked and grunted cutely wanting back with her father. Causeway giggled at this but froze in shock and amazement when their daughter squeaked again.

"Dada!" Velvet Rose squeaked adorably.

Optimus blinked and smiled as he pulled Causeway down beside him and Velvet Rose crawled over and snuggled against his chest yawning her tiny thumb going into her mouth. Causeway smiled happily and snuggled against her mates shoulder as he held her close.

"I should have known" Causeway said with a smile.

Optimus arched an optic ridge and looked at her curiously.

"Should have known what?" he asked confused.

Causeway smiled and kissed his cheek before snuggling against the side of his neck.

"That she was gonna be a daddy's girl" she teased.

Optimus chuckled slightly and kissed the top of her helm as they watched their sparkling fall asleep comfortably on her fathers chest before they themselves drifted into a content sleep.
